Testimonials

  • "Good stop over"

Decided to have a stop over whilst visiting the area. Good off street car parking. Was met by paul, and he showed us upto our room, and helped with our bags. Was very welcoming, and helpful with where we could eat, visit etc. Only short walk to shops, bars , restaurants etc The room was very clean, and good size, with large comfortable bed. There was plenty of hot water, and room nice and warm We enjoyed lovely breakfast, and lots of choice, would definitely stop here again if passing

  • "Definitely stay again "

We stayed because we were viewing properties for sale in the local area. The owners were so kind and friendly and really made us feel at home. Our room was spotless; modern and very quiet, overlooking hills to one side and town on the other. Plenty of free parking on site and an outdoor seating area which we made good use of. Breakfast was very hearty and there was a huge selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts. Tea or coffee and toast were in regular supply, as was useful advice for places to go from the owner. We will definitely recommend this guesthouse and stay here again if we have need to. MARG

  • "Keep coming back"

Best place ever, we have small dogs and my wife is disabled. We have a downstairs room a with a wet room and plenty of space. The dogs are always welcomed and the breakfasts are very enjoyable. Our third time, booked another night on October and are returning next year.

Delfryn Cottage

Delfryn cottage in Church Street is a lovely quiet street close to the town centre with access to the parks and river Wye around the corner. You’ll love my place because although it is an old cottage it has been newly refurbished, offering modern amenities whilst keeping its original cosiness and charm. Delfryn Cottage would suit couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets) and of course outbound groups.
